CheatDevice for VCS runs as a PRX, so you need to run VCS through DevHook to use it. Install the PRX by running CheatDeviceInstall.exe or read the instructions in readme.txt if you prefer to do it by hand.

After installing, wait at least 30 seconds before turning off USB or pulling out your memory stick. The PC caches your changes and doesn't write them out until a while later. If your memory card gets corrupt, use "chkdsk /f X:" I advise against saving your game after using cheats. Please note that when you spawn vehicles, you are using a game cheat that will lower your criminal rating!

Wait, you can run GTA VCS without using Devhook? I've tried to run it on 3.02 OE, to no avail.

^^what. i might have misunderstood but did u say u couldnt run VCS without devhook. either way. nicce work to Edison Carter. I used his LCS cheatdevice back on like the 2nd build. then i foolishly update...before i knew about homebrew. but this is sure to be awesome

try using the iflasher for 2.71se-b. install that and then put the .prx file in the root of your memory stick. then run the iflasher (it must be put in the game150 folder i think) and instead of installing, clcik circle to update. this will re-install the prx from the root of the memory stick

Try using the iFlasher for 2.71SE-B. It worked for me. all you need to do is put it in your game150 (or whichever you use for 1.50 games) install it and then put the updated prx file in the root of your memory stick. then run the program again but instead of install, click update (or something of the sort)

Works for me on 3.02 OE-B without the iFlasher thing. Just stick the PRX in, edit the game.txt, enable the module and run VCS :).

How do you get CONSTRUCTION MODE to work? I know how to switch to it on the cheat device, but I don't know how to actually use it. Please can somebody help?

i have FW 3.40 OE-A and i have no idea what devhook is or what it does or why i need it but i love modding GTA-VC for pc so this interests me very much! (sorry I'm a bit of a psp noob i've only had 1 for 3 weeks max):confused: :confused:
