If sony made every game for psx its own eboot to make it full speed, would it be possible to use that idea but for n64??

The eboot isnt what makes it full speed.. it's the emulator.

I cut up my windows XP CD so it would fit inside a UMD case. I then put it in the PSP. It started installing but froze at 10%. Vista worked fine though.

lmao, maybe if you use a shrink ray, you can get it to the same size as a umb. then it will FULLY INSTALL:rofl:

what i meant by all this is that if sony made an emulator that makes each game into an eboot with a .exe file as the emu(for 3.02 oe-b users) , then couldnt we do that with n64?

No because N64 roms don't have the same setup as iso's.

Different machine code, different hardware, different systems. A whole new emulator would need to be used.

so basically ITS NOT THATS IN IN EBOOT FORM!!!! ITS THE EMULATOR!!!!!

...
...
the reason popstation works, is that sony devs put a complete emulator in each eboot code,

the games arent recompiled for the psp, but the .img is placed in the eboot...

the psone games work so well, because we are running them through an official emulator, which was created on the oficial SDK [i guess]

agreed accordian, I just feel sorry for the guys who were coding the homebrew ps1 emu's.

I for one would still like to see a homebrew PS1 emulator with more settings options. It would also be nice to select a game from a list within the emulator program, instead of via eboots in the Game menu.
