Hi, I havent been around for a few months, and recently my friend told me about this psone emu? Anyone got any guides on how to install the emu. Thanks.

What firmware do you have

Ok this is how it works:
You convert a PSX iso to EBOOT using Popstation (and one of the many GUIs if you want)
Load it up on firmware 3.02 OE-B (Dark_Alex's new custom firmware)

what the hell is that? Also would I need to upgrade my firmware, or do I just use dev hook to emulate the firmware? Also should I get 3.02 OE-A or B?

You need to upgrade to 3.02OEB

Read the damn tutorial linked and check 1 or 2 pages of the forum. Saves your time and ours.

Also, people should stop answering that kind of recurring questions, unless as SSaxDude who linked someplace else.

splodger15, not to be rude, but you're particularly "helpful" in that. This is a forum, not a chat room, so you shouldn't encourage repetitive information, nor ask one vague question and give one vague answer at a time like you ALWAYS do--that fits well for IRC and such, but here it only makes things big and confusing.

Sorry for playing moderator here, but this forum is getting more and more unorganized, partly because of all the PS emu madness.

Personally I think the moderators should enforce more the "go look for answers instead of asking obvious questions" approach.

I use the internet on my PSP alot, so can i still use it if i upgrade to the new 3.02 OE-B custom firmwarwe?

3.02OE-B has all the features of 1.5, 3.02 and more. INCLUDING the web browser.

How long does it take to extract and pack the 1.50 and 3.02, the psp has been doing this for 20 mintues.

yes i have, its taking forever to extract 3.02 firmware. I restarted it like 4 times now, its been going for over 20 minutes

It is charged at 100% but aint pluged into the mains. Also how big is the DXAR file ment to be? Each time i stop it and check it is 0Kb.

i waited about 5 min-7 min. I was nervous. very and at the end it all came out perfect. Im sure everything will be ok , jst wait and make sure u followed every single step.

do you think it is a corrupt 3.02 file? When i downloaded the 1.50 it was as a zip file, but when i downloaded the 3.02 from this site,
