Last week was a busy period for new releases in Japan, with seven games debuting in the software chart top ten and 3DS XL (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/nintendo-3ds/games/12777/nintendo-3ds-xl/) hitting the market.

On the hardware front, PS3 and PSP sales were up slightly week-over-week, while Vita sales slipped back below the 10,000 unit mark, Andriasang (http://andriasang.com/con241/weekly_sales/) reports.
