After reading lots of thread I would like to warn this comunnity about using 4 gig ms cards with 3.02 OE-A/B ect. I heard many occasions were a user has tryed to return to 1.50 FW using these cards and had there PSP brick. I'm assuming it's because the 1.50 kernal dosent support the larger MS greater than 2 gig

Dude it supports 4 gig sticks just fine. I used my 1.5 + 4 gig for at least 8 months before upgrading to 3.02 OE-B. I don't think there is any problem with.

Some 4 gig sticks have been trickling through Ebay that are fakers, maybe these fake sticks are the ones ****ing up.

I Seriously doubt that would happen, If they are using oficial or SanDisk cards, I don't see a problem, they work fine! but others? from (for example) your local pawn shop... not that I wouldn't be surprised xD

Doesn't say anything about 4GB or less, just cards larger than 4GB (ie; 8GB)
