Ok, so I bricked my brother's PSP v2.80 w/ a TA-082 trying 0okms first 2.80 ta-082 downgrader(non-easy) earlier this week.

I just bought a new one(w/warranty which covers bricking - and i asked)at Best Buy in order to repay him and it was a v2.60 w/TA-082 motherboard. I upgraded easily to 2.71 and to downgraded succesfully to v1.5, and then upgraded all the way to 3.02oeb. Now we have two (2) 3.02oeb's and a bricked v2.80(which I'll try to replace the motherboard).

NOW MY QUESTION IS, Can I use the v1.5 RECOVER with my TA-082motherboard? I am afraid that if anything happens, I could use RECOVER, but people are saying to replace the v1.5 UPDATE with a v2.71 UPDATE. Should I really replace the EBOOTs, or am I fine? I'm not sure at all cuz my other PSP 3.02oeb is an original v1.5 motherboard, and this one is a TA-082?

I would really appreciate any response or comments, and i hope someone will know.
THANKS IN ADVANCE!
Peace!

you are fine, i also kept the 2.71 eboot in my recovery folder but my friend did a few tests, he used the 1.50 eboot on his ta-082 and recovered from 3.03 oe-a to 1.50 with no problem. he did this 2 times

also dont go straight to 3.02 oe b
go straight to 3.03 oe a

Thanks for your answer, and that was pretty fast. So I'll just stick w/ the v1.5 EBOOT just for the hell of it then.

Alright, and I'll consider 3.03oea.

Again, Thank you!
