I have an hdtv without component inputs . Will there be a cable to plug into my hdmi input as i would love to be playing with the oicture running on 480p .:(

Extremely doubtful since the Wii doesn't support full hi-def. Maybe there are component-VGA apapters available.

I have tried that and been told that there is no adaptor. It is very annoying . Will a s-video cable make a big difference.

going from composite to s-video on an hdtv should make a noticable difference.

I actually use a standard componenet to vga adapter to output 480p from my PS2 'cause myt Wii is taking up my only componet spot on my TV. It actually does thr trick very well. the adapter was only like 10$ on ebay to. I highly recommend one.
