I just got my PSP a few days ago. It was the bundle for 249.99. The firmware it came with is 2.71 & it is the TA-082 motherboard. I tried to play a game & it said I needed to update to 3.03, so I did.

Now, my system is as stands:
TA-082 Motherboard
Firmware 3.03 (From 2.71, not sure if it matters)

I was wondering what I would need to do to run homebrew.

I've read a lot about the 3.02 OE-B & 3.02 OE-A, but I'm not sure what it is, or how to check what I have.

& one last question, if I decide to run the homebrew, can I still play PSP games?

THANKS SO MUCH FOR ANY HELP AT ALL!

As far as my knowledge goes through by posting on here, You cannot run hombrew on what you have right now you will have to wait awhile for a downgrader for you 3.03 frimware you should have left it at 2.75.

You won't be playble to play homebrew on official firmware 3.03, you'll will have to wait until a downgrader is made - that not coming anytime for now.

Yeah you see 3.03 oe a it is a hybrid of what you have and what you need to run homebrew. but since you have official 3.03 you loose all homebrew...for now
