What Do you want to do with your psp?

This is a very general question

There has been lots of hacks, mods, homebrew etc etc for the psp. if you could choose what would you like to see your psp doing

it could be an emulator, a skinning engine, some hack, anything that has to do with the psp's software

for me i would like to utilize a full skin for the psp, like some skinning engine and you could customize EVERYTHING about the psp's interface, like getting rid of the xmb and trying something else

what would you want to do next with your psp?

Having a Sega Saturn emulator is what I'd like to have (though I haven't seen any around). Also, I want the old gameboot branding on my current 3.03 OE-A2 PSPs. Well, I could but then I would not be able to run PSX games as the 1.50 opening_plugin.RCO can't handle them.

Here's 2 pictures below to show what I mean. The left hand picture is the old version 1.00/1.50 branding. The one to the right is the current one introduced from 2.00.

how did you get that prince of persia gameboot on your 3.03 oe-a i try and use x flash but it says i can only have 196kb and less gameboots and the prince of persia one is 512kb

I'd love to mod my PSP with the lights, and a custom clear UMD Door (Acidmods.com has some really nice looking ones) and then give ita custom XMB (I like the idea of the one program that can change the icons, but you can only change certain ones, and not how everything looks. And other things are 'workarounds' that you have to load in the browser first)

i wish there was a mic built in the psp.. a camera.. and slots for a mouse and keyboard.. and applications for typing and recording and garage band and the 3 slots a tv has to be the screen for xbox 360 or ps3 :P

I used X-flash first (that was before I updated the 3.03 OE-A2) to permanently remove the network update feature and free a little bit of space on flash0 (although the icon remains in the XMB) and then flashed it using PSP filer.

I had to do it this somewhat complex way because the gameboot wouldn't write to flash0 as apparently there's only 20.3MB max capacity. That's why X-flash limits the gameboot size to 196KB, due to lack of space with the version 3.03fimware files and the 1.50 subset.

i'd like to see warcraft II be ported to psp, its missing good rts's , full speed n64 emu, fully custimizable xmb, and alternate gameboots, and if possible some dreamcast and saturn emus.

And YKB i got a idea, use xflash to debrand the gameboot, then use the sony umd tools to make your own gameboot, and put the psp logo on it, soundslike a bit of trouble but if you want it that much...
