View Full Version : Huge Rumor: Internet Release groups says PS3 Backups are Playable, Exploit Found

A group called Paradox claims that they have found an exploit in Sony's PS3 firmware so they can run their own unsigned code in the PS3's OS and not through Linux. They say that they don't want to release it until more games come out that are worthy of being pirated. :( Right now I am at firmware 1.32 so hopefully the exploit is compatible with that firmware. Otherwise I could just buy a new PS3 with a 1.10 firmware.

Note: DCEmu is not interested in any of the piracy aspects of this news and will take action upon any who decide to discuss it. We are only interested in the possibilities of homebrew on the PS3.

I have 1.30. i had to for Resistance to play online. It's not like 1.00 on the psp where like first off it was possible to run unsigned or HELLO WORLD.
