Read the title, if you know this is possible, can someone guide me through the procedure to downgrade my PSP back to 3.02OE-A?

copy the recovery folder in "flasher for recovery" to ms0:\psp\game and put your 1.5 eboot in their as eboot.pbp. Hard off your psp and then power it on while holding R. select "Run program at /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP" after it finishes you'll have a fresh 1.5 psp...now just update to the firmware of your choice.

Place the 1.5 upgrade EBOOT in a folder named RECOVERY and put this in GAME150. Boot into the recovery mode, run the update. Then just upgrade to 3.02 OE-A. I don't really see the point in this because only 3.03 OE-A supports compressed PSX games.

Lots of PSX Games that worked in 3.02OE-a/b no longer work properly in 3.03OE-a

Specifically:

FFVII
FFVIII
Dynasty Warriors
Road Rash 3D

No don't do this.
The 1.5 firmware eboot must be renamed UPDATE.PBP
If you leave it as EBOOT.PBP you will overwrite a vital part of the recovery folder and it won't recover your brick.

there is the easier way of running the update maker and update flasher on the 1.50 kernal of 3.03 OE A, saves time as there really is no need to degrade to 1.50 first
