can someone plz help im trying to install this custom firmware. when i press on the update maker it just says game could not be started.(8001002)do u have to uninstall devhook

im on version 1.50 i no u dont install through devhook,but would it affect the install of oe-a should i delete it? ive followed the guide what am i doing wrong

I would format the memory stick first then install it

yes but then i would have to put all my music back on homebrew etc.is there a way to avoid this?will uinstall devhook see if that works.

I dont think you can upodate straight can you.

are you sure its oea? not oeb?

Remember you need both the updatemaker and updatemaker% folders in /PSP/GAME.

You update to OEa first then update to OE B

done it now on 303 oe-a its awesome used ExcruciationX pack for the dxar file thing,now time for some psx games

go to recovery menu, go to configurations, enable hide corrupt icons. it wont hide the recovery folder tho, it shows up as corrupt in the XBM anyway. but just dont mind it

turn your psp completely off (hold the power switch up for like 10 seconds) then hold down R trigger and switch it back on while holding R trigger down. a pink screen should pop up. This is very useful if you accidently brick your psp.
