The tablet with a console-esque controller will be on sale from October 31st.
The US arm of retailer GameStop has confirmed it will stock the Wikipad.
The 10.1 inch gaming-focused tablet's USP is an attachable console-style controller complete with analogue sticks. Under the hood is a quad-core processor and either 16GB or 32GB of storage, with the option to expand via microSD.
It also has an eight megapixel rear camera, two megapixel front-facing camera and a battery that can provide six hours of continuous gaming.
As reported previously, the Wikipad will be PlayStation Certified (http://www.mobile-ent.biz/news/read/wikipad-details-and-images-are-released/018860)and will also support Google Play apps.
GameStop's mobile VP Joe Gorman said: "We are thrilled to be partnering with Wikipad to launch this unique new gaming tablet.
"We love the innovation and know our customers are excited to see it in action."
The Wikipad can be pre-ordered from September 7th, goes on sale on October 31st and will cost $499.
