Chris Roberts, the creator of such seminal titles as Wing Commander, Privateer, Strike Commander and Freelancer has announced that he is working on a new game.
Although it is still early and details are scarce, the developer is inviting people to register their interest early to receive a ‘Golden Ticket’ invitation to participate in the development process.
Anyone interested have been invited to visit his website (http://robertsspaceindustries.com/start/) and input the code “42” to register.
“I’m here to tell you that I have been working on something for just under a year, something that embraces everything that my past games stood for but takes it to the next level. I hope you’ll be as excited by it as I am. My new endeavour is still in its early stages but I invite you to take the journey with me,” writes Roberts on the website before adding:
“My name is Chris Roberts. And if you would indulge me I would like to create a world for you.”
