What is the rate of Duty?

Kpow - I think if you read the rules you will find that customs duty ispayable on all goods that are bought from outside the EU. If you buy within the EU, you only pay the VAT.

Ouch i feel sorry for you brits. Your money is valued so much higher than ours those prices would be unreasonable to pay + shipping here. 512 go for about 55-80 USD. Depends on the store and the deals. The average on them is about 62 + tax.

i think psplover is refering to the fact that tax (not duty or import charges) is added on after. some english websites (ebuyer and GBAX for two) always quote prices without tax with the tax added on later :mad:

photo-scotland delivered next day, ordered wed recieved thur. £44.95+£1.60 postage for 512MB, cheapest apart from some good buys on amazon and ebay.
