Vivec Entertainment announces postponement until May 2013 of the first-person horror adventure game Shadow of a Soul (SOAS).

“Ever since the first trailer of the game, ‘The Room,’ was released on December 20, 2012, the response from gamers has been uniformly positive and encouraging. As an indie developer, I want to create a game that is worthy of all the support I’ve received thus far. I’ve decided to postpone the release in order to fully achieve my goal of creating an intense and scary game,” says Ferzan K. Aygen, CEO of Vivec Entertainment.

SOAS revolves around a thief named Jack who is on an industrial espionage mission to steal the blueprints of a new product. At the office complex, he discovers much more to the place than originally meets the eye. The unnatural sounds and horrifying visions give Jack the unnerving feeling he has been ensnared by a malignant presence. Jack's terrifying journey will lead him to several mysterious encounters that leave indelible marks on his mind, as well as on his flesh.
SOAS has been in development for two years and contains 12-16 hours of game play. The game will retail at USD19.99. Developed primarily for Windows and Macintosh platforms, the original version is slated for release at the end of May 2013 with the exact date yet to be announced.

Gamers can pre-order SOAS for $15.99 now and save 20% on the official purchase price, plus earn a producer credit and download at no extra cost three ambient tracks from the game. A PS3 version of the game is planned for an early 2014 release.
