The latest entry in Nintendo's even-more-two-dimensional Mario franchise,Paper Mario: Sticker Star (http://www.joystiq.com/game/paper-mario-sticker-star), will launch for European 3DSes on December 7, Nintendo just announced during a European Nintendo Direct presentation (http://www.joystiq.com/2012/10/04/watch-the-3ds-nintendo-direct-for-europe-live-right-here/).
New footage of the game was shown, which featured Mario knocking over a tree in the foreground to cause a Rube Goldberg-esque chain reaction and grant access to a previously unreachable part of the level.
