PS2, Reset button help.

When i was working on my PS2, i was taking the Top cover off, so i could set it up for Easy swapping, but when i was taking it off, and trying to take off the covor to the Disk Drive, i was stupid and i accedentally broke the button to the Reset and eject button, so it gets power (i checked into this and it gets power) and the reset button wont turn on, is there and alternative to starting up your PS2 or do i have to get a new PS2? im getting a couple pictures of what happened.

i gotta problem with my reset button to my ribbon ting came off for the reset and eject button and i put it back into the ps2 and when i turn it on the reset light turns on but nothing happens when i push the buttons what should i do
