Sony Computer Entertainment put together a heck of a machine with the PlayStation Portable, but spend enough time with it and you'll find a few things that get on your nerves. The system is solid, the interface is easy, it's just the little things that bug you. And it's the little things that you, Joe Consumer sitting on his ass at home, can see a solution to without knowing all the technical mumbo-jumbo involved in getting it done.
The simple solutions are what we're after in our ongoing new feature, the PSP Gimme List. The simplest fixes are sometimes the last things to get done, and the Gimme List is all about demanding that priorities get straight and things we want get done.
Some of these things, it's the games' fault for doing things that don't make sense; other problems, it's the system going backwards instead of turning towards the easiest way to do a job. It's all stuff that can be fixed and is plenty doable, but it's not happening yet. If it's technically possible with PSP and if it will make our PSP playing experience that much better, gimme it.
