First TV show on UMD

Spider-Man - The New Animated Series on UMD arrives June 14. List price is $19.95. We're not sure to what extent we'll be covering the UMD format in the future, but it made sense to cover the first TV Shows On UMD announcement and test the waters. If you want more, let us know.

theres too much SpiderMan on the PSP for my liking - untill they release "24" onto UMD i wont be bothered about TV shows UMDs :D lol

Why not bring out popular tv series' like family guy, simpsons, futurama.. etc..
I'd like to see shaun of the dead on umd.. or I could convert ma dvd copy to mp4.

Seriously buying a 512mb-1gb memory stick is the best way to go as you buy one card and just download stuff off p2p or rip your dvds to the stick.. much better IMO.

Until UMD's worth buying a released I can't see a huge profit being made in that area.

They just been better pricing and quality of releases.
How about new movies cost $15 and old movies cost $9 just like dvds.
Also how about popular series?
Why not do anime?
Why isnt Sony marketing UMD worth shit. I think there marketing on UMD media is almost as bad as Sega's marketing.

I agree, I'm amazed that spiderman is the first tv series released. 24 would have been excellent (24 conspiricy theory would have been perfect) but hey, 24 getting ripped onto Memory stick as we speak
