The object of the game is very simple. Much like in most puzzle games, you are given multiple objects that have different colors. You must match the correct colors in order to destroy blocks. The deal with Lumines is that you have two colors that change from "skin" to "skin" (we'll get to that in a moment), but one thing remains the same throughout the entire game: you must make squares of the same color.
