:thumbup: Well, I'm laughing like crazy right now.
I just bricked my psp in devhook :) How is that possible?? I don't know...
I ran the 3.03 OE-C flasher while in devhook 1.5 emulation, and it formatted my ACTUAL psp flash, not emulated flash.
ROFL!
I bet your asking yourself, WHY is he laughing about bricking his psp???
Well, I just bought U.P. Now time to wait to get and install it! :) :rofl:

hmm devhook has flash redirection to ms. it shouldn't brick.

apparently it doesn't redirect formatting....

Apparently, he did...

Using flashers with devhook WILL brick, updaters are disabled though..

So it's not really strange that you bricked...

lol, I don't care. It's ok. I don't need your sympathy. I was just warning you guys not to fool around like that. I had no clue that was even possible. Very fun though.
I should get my modchip in 3 or 4 days.

I was bored with my psp anyway. Why do you guys think this is so bad? I'm not that addicted to video games that I can't stand a few days without my psp. Anyway, I have a ton of other video games and stuff to do.
(maybe I am... I spent around $600-700 on my psp...)

Ok, can you please stop with the flames...
I did nothing to be flamed for. I DO know about downgrading. I just didn't feel like doing it, so i got the UP modchip. I'm not soldering it myself, I'm getting Chicago Game Werks to install it for me.
Also, I was told it was fine to play with flashing on emulated firmware, and that it wouldn't do anything. so I'm telling the noobs that don't know, dont try anything like that. I'm lucky since I'm getting the modchip in a few days. other people might not be as lucky.
In less than 2 weeks, I'll have my psp back and it will be fine. I was going to brick my psp on purpose anyway, I just wasn't expecting this to do it.
Hey, did anyone see that episode of House where he was playing a PSP? And that advertisement for some air freshener where a kid was playing his psp in the bathtub (i heared the sound effects from FTB:2) lol...

I am lucky to be getting it unbricked. It's just funny... The day after I order my modchip I brick my psp in a way I didn't even know possible :)

well this sounds exactly what i would do if i did this and its almost like hes saying the same thing i would say :p, so i really dont have anything to say to the dude.

yeah its cool bricking your psp but you got no worries cuz ure getting a modchip, neways wtev just remember to never BLEEEEEEP around wiht flash unless you know what youre doing
