do you need 3.03 OE-C for this?

vision
February 4th, 2007, 17:49
You can have either 3.02 oe-x, 3.03 oe-x, 1.50 or 2.71 se-x

Um... i saw in this pack that is a already generated daxar file. It say's in the readme your not supposed to do this you only supposed to generate it yourself. So why are people using this?

StealthCP
February 4th, 2007, 18:18
Cos they can't be bothered to make it themselves. If this contains the DATA.DXAR then I think it is illegal, as it would be distributing modified Sony licensed code.

Honestly though, I do not think many people care that much, I don't see a problem with it. :D

It says your not suppose to use one from 3.0X but this is generated from 3.10 so anyone can use it

I whish they had a + karma on these forums like some then the one with the most karma is the best forum member and contributes the most to the community.

I'm on 3.02 OE-B, what new features would this include that makes it worth the upgrade?

3.02 OE-B, placed two folders in game folder, try to run and says game could not be started. Help?

Is it supposed to be the GAME150 folder instead?

D0N
February 4th, 2007, 18:59
Yes you are meant to place them in GAME150 folder

Upgraded successfully, thanks DAX and Vision and DON^.

Is there anyway to put themes (i.e. changing font) w/out writing to flash on this firmware?

Is there anyway to put themes (i.e. changing font) w/out writing to flash on this firmware?Nope i don't think that is possible at least not yet. You can't even add the theme pack on this one yet.

I just got my White firmware 1.50 PSP. I was about to upgrade to 3.10 OE-A with your easy installer. So all I have to do is place %310oeflasher and 310oeflasher folders into X:/PSP/GAME and run it from the XMB correct?

The data.dxar is working right? Thanks for your help.

Shrygue

I just downloaded this and updated my psp. I guess that means I can say my PSP history is virgin 1.50 to 3.10oe-a. I don't know if I would have been confident enough to try it without the easy installer. Thanks Vision for providing that. I am looking forward to learning more. For now I am happy being able to play my new UMD's. I will try to play one of my playstation games tomorrow. Thanks again!

Just tried it and it worked great! Thanks.

However, when I moved my homebrew files over to the GAME150 directory, I noticed that in the XMB, that I have the original icons for the homebrew programs plus extra icons for "corrupted data." So say that I installed gpsp, I would have an icon for that, and a corrupted icon whose size seems to be that of the whole directory. Any reason why? FYI, the program still works fine though (when I use the original icon). Thanks for any info.
