I need to upgrade from firmware 2.81 to 3.03 to downgrade then to 1.50.

1. Could someone tell me where i could get firmware 3.03 because http://dl.qj.net/PSP-Firmware-3.03-PSP/pg/12/fid/11844/catid/163 always corrupts the download and never finishes the download.

2. Once i have them files, can you tell me how i can get them on my memory stick PRO DUO? my pc card reader only reads "memory stick PRO" thats a kick in the teeth eh.. is there a program that can read the contents of the PSP & the inserted memory stick and allow file transfer via USB? I have a USB connector.

3. Could you tell me how to update? or it is as simple as loading that 3.03 on my memory stick and turning on my psp and executing the file from the psp itself?

I have GTA:LCS ULES00151 :)

i've been doing a lot of reading and researching, sorry to put it on you guys like this, but i just don't understand at the moment. I've had my PSP for 2 days, go easy and thanks very much. :thumbup:

1. HERE is the link to the eboot (http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/958)

2. Create a folder called UPDATE make sure it is in captial letters and place the EBOOT.PBP in the UPDATE folder and run it from the game menu

I been following *THIS* (http://pspupdates.qj.net/Are-you-ready-for-homebrew-3-03-HEN-and-Downgrader-released-/pg/49/aid/80842) guide. and i'm on 3.03 now.

I bought GTA:LCS today with ULES 00151 on the spine.

Get to Number 5. on the guide and nothings happening right about now.

I take out the UMD and something catches my eye............... "ULES-00151#2" on the UMD. !!!!

I got blindedy robbed. it was in the official psp shrinkwrap too. SO they have the unpatched number on the outside of the box, but the patched code on the UMD. :(

Ah well. Version 3.03 i stay. *mad

You can check if it is patched by looking at the update on the UMD.

What does it say does it say update to 2.00 or 2.60

Yes that is the patched version of the game.
