Sometimes a deal can seem too good to be true. But at the time of writing this offer is very much real.
GameStop (http://www.impulsedriven.com/products/ESD-IMP-W2385) is currently selling digital PC versions of not only Far Cry and Far Cry 2: Fortune’s Edition but also the brand spanking new Far Cry 3: Deluxe Edition for £4.94.
Note to UK buyers – paying through PayPal seems to lock away some of the Far Cry 3 content. But paying with a credit or debit card seems to work fine.
Buyers will also have to download a GameStop PC app through which the games can then be downloaded – as is being done by at least one of the MCV team right now.
Far Cry 3 was only released last month and cost £39.99 on PC from GAME on launch day. Don’t expect this deal to be replicated anywhere else!
