Jade Empire might have appeared on Xbox an aeon ago, but at least with the Special Edition for PC BioWare is taking pains to deliver more than a direct console conversion.
In fact, there's encouraging word on the street that this new iteration of the kung-fu RPG doesn't really feel like a converted console game in the way the KOTOR titles did - although areas are often tight and confined, and it may be too short for PC RPG aficionados.
Anyway, a hefty load of new screenshots have been released along with a new trailer, which you can pass mince pies over and play spot the visual improvements with. The Special Edition also features the likes of new monsters, enemies and fighting styles. It's due for release on March 2.
