Hi and thanks in advance.

1) I want to buy a one of those 3rd party 3600 mah (mostly on ebay)
or max 4300 mah. Anyone have them or trust them?

2) How many more hours do I get compared to my original 1200 mah? It can't be double the power with each jump in mah number can it?

3) I have 3.03 oe-c and on the themes setting wallpaper.. it says "do not use".
Is this a warning from Dark Alex? Does it interfere?

I trust them just maybe not off ebay. But i doubt it should interfere with your firmware. You will notice longer game play since 3.03 uses 333mhz it drains much quicker. And if you update to 3.10oe u could use the 4th backlight feature it has. Ebay is nice but careful with the crooks :)

Yep I believe it makes everything faster, since when psp first came out it was at 222mhz so they could compete with the ds's battery power and claim longer hours of game play. If I had a 3600 mah or 4300 mah I would tell ya the battery hour comparison but I don't have one so sry i can't help with that maybe another user has one?

Actually, when 1.00 was out, that ran at 333 which was one thing they fixed with 1.5. I mean, you can switch it with the recovery menu and stuff.

any of you guys have custom wall paper when you had 3.03 oe-c? as it states by the themes options "DO NOT USE"

I have used the wallpaper feature in 3.03 OE-C and it works fine.

As for the "Do Not Use" message in theme just indicates that the wallpaper isn't enabled. To display it just change it to "Use". The wallpaper you selected up in the Photo viewer will appear.

Thanks I thought it was strange as "do not use" seemed like a warning.

LMAO, my little sis thought the same thing, so I convinced her to use x-flash (that was a while back, 2.71 SE fw's)
