I tried Chrono Trigger and the sound and text is messed up. I'm not too familiar with good SNES games and I'd like to play some good gems that I've missed :D

Get a PSP, DS is so corny.

yes, sound is screwed up in Chrono Trigger, but the graphics are fine. Just press L+R+Select+Up a few times to cycle through a few known good settings. This should work for most games too, though if you can't find a good combo, press L+R+Start to enter the SnezziDS config menu, where you can manually change the settings. I would enter this menu anyway so that you're familiar with the various options.

If you're not going to post anything constructive, don't post at all.

No problem, always glad to help out a fellow SNESer. Have you tried SNES DS or SNEmulDS yet? SNES DS is rather outdated, but it works well for some games, while SNEmulDS has high compatibility but is slower due to the fact that it's a port of a PC emulator.

If you're using a card with GBA support, you can put many games into an SNES DS compilation (run snesds.exe directly, not make_nds.bat), while other cards are restricted to a total filesize of <4 MB (using make_nds.bat). SNEmulDS also loads games directly into the DS's RAM, so there's a filesize limitation there as well. On the plus side, SNEmulDS allows you to copy .smc files directly over to the card, with no need for converting or patching beforehand.

I've made a quick SNES DS video tutorial at http://dannysied.googlepages.com/SNES_DS_tutorial.wmv though in it I use make_nds.bat. For your purposes, you'd want to use snesds.exe directly. The video shows you to get ndstool.exe from Darfader's site (linked to from the PHwiki) and the latest Superdat from the PocketHeaven forums.
