I have no idea what to do. It opens fine, but I can't get it to load the xmb, or to load a umd or iso.

I have irshell 3.1

Use the 1.50 eboots only...that final build was intended to work accurately with 2.71 SE firmwares.

If you want to take pictures of your XMB stuff or do any other stuff in the XMB, there's still .prx files that can help you do that.

Why do you want to load UMD or ISO from IRshell if you already have 3.10 OE-A? you need a devhook configured in your memorystick with IRshell to do that...sounds like a waste of space to me....Unless you want to use a Playstation Pad to play MGS Portable Ops or higher firmware required games...then I understand.

I want to listen to mp3s while I play my umds, and take snapshots of mp4 videos

Get .prx plugin files to do that and put them in the seplugins folder, then later go to the recovery menu (turn on PSP and quickly hold R shoulder) and Enable these plugins.

Make a forum search for PRX plugins....sorry, the only one I remember is the Snapshot/Recording one called Capture.prx

seeing as ir shell is run on 1.50 kernal, it can only load 1.50 XMB, which requires a devhookable 1.50 dump on memorystick (i say devhookable cause it has to be in ms0:/dh/150/flash0)

as for running games, it can only run games that work on 1.50
