"We are aware of this issue and are looking into what is causing it and for a resolution."Users are reporting an inability to log into their accounts and connection issues in games - including Dark Souls and Age of Empires Online.
As a possible temporary fix, MS says, "Some users are reporting success by running the following four commands in an administrator command prompt (right click on the command prompt and select run as administrator):
- bitsadmin /reset
- ipconfig /flushdns
- netsh int ip reset
- netsh winsock reset
The firm says you should then restart your PC, then re-running the game and selecting "Sign-in with another account" to log in.
"This is not working for everyone and we are looking into a complete resolution for all of our users," adds MS.
