Bungie has officially confirmed its new game, titled Destiny, will be revealed on February 17.

The developer is a little more specific with a reveal date on its Destiny Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=398946153534028&set=a.398946146867362.88374.356414807787163&type=1) page: "You can be the first to see the reveal of Destiny right here on Feb. 17 (T-Minus 5 days)," it says.
In addition to the aforementioned Facebook page, new Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/destinythegame) and Google+ (http://plus.google.com/u/0/114509186159678094440/posts) feeds have been set up for Destiny.
As reported earlier today (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/390579/bungie-teaser-site-points-to-reveal-in-seven-days/), a web site teasing a reveal within seven days was launched, containing cryptic puzzles and riddles.
This follows news last week that Bungie will unveil its new Destiny unvierse "within a matter of weeks" (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/389689/bungie-teases-destiny-reveal-within-a-matter-of-weeks/), indicating that news will come before the previously confirmed GDC reveal (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/386925/bungie-to-make-destiny-reveal-at-gdc/).

According to the leaked docs, Destiny will feature a story set seven hundred years from now in the Last City on Earth, in a Solar System "littered with the ruins of man's Golden Age".
