Persona 2 slow down problem (Popstation) please assist

Im playing Persona 2 for playstation 1 using 3.10 OE A, i get large slow downs when the text box (For talking) comes up (But no slow dwn if its under one sentance..) and while in the menus. Everything else works fine, even things im sure take far more strain then text boxes and menu (Like anime videos in the game). I also freeze up sometimes in battles :/

this game is amazing and im trying to put up with the problems but they are annoying. Im pretty sure its my PSP or something...does anyone else have this same problem? Can you test it? Do you know a way to fix it? Would trying the new 3.11 plugin to use its popstation program fix this? Please help me ; ;

I used the 3.11 popstation plugin, no change. I guess i give up :/ It was a good game too ; ;

same thing happened to me, persona 1 worked pretty good, but i liked playing persona 2 better, so i kinda gave up... most we can hope for is more releases from sony to expand the popstation library and hope it gets cracked so we can use it etc.
