why would the colour matter? every psp gets the same coloured backgrounds, unless you change them yourself, just cause it shows on the box doesnt mean they actually have that colour

yep you are correct flash0\VSH\RESOURCES\1-12.BMP
would be where you id the background themes, you would be wise to back them up before you paste over them, just incase you need them again.

no their not different, update would dump 2 01-12.bmp's is there were 2 in the updates (1 for white PSPs, 1 for other coloured PSPs). Also, how would the PSP check what colour it is when doing an update.

In short, all PSP backgrounds are the same untill you flash new ones yourself

i was just wondering if i could have the colors....... really its not that big a deal. i didnt know if they were on any other psps, i just knew that the white one used different colors...
