April 18, 2005 - Sony Computer Entertainment Korea has announced a halt in the limited-edition pre-order program for the upcoming release of the PSP in Korea. This announcement comes on the 18th, just five days after the start of the program. The program was originally scheduled to last twelve days, starting from the 13th.

During those five days, SCEK reached the capacity of a 20,000 pre-order limit it had placed for the limited edition version of the system, which comes bundled with the Korea-only NESPOT networking software. This includes preorders through a number of channels, including Online sales and offline sales through convenience stores.

SCEK will ship the PSP to the Korean market on May 2.
