My first thread, man I'm syked. Anyways, I just put Silent Hill on my PSP very recently but it takes up 600MB for both game and KEYS.bin. That's too much room taken up on my 1GB stick and I listen to alot of music on it. My question is can my PSP run compressed ISOs? Or do I need a later firmware? My fw is 3.02 OE-B. Thanks

It needs to be in PBP format for the PSX game to run. And the PSX game can be compressed

Often you will need the later 3.03s-3.10s or higher to run compressed ISOs, but sometimes they will run on lower firmwares.

Test and out and let us know.

You should just go to 3.03 OE-C, which can run CSOs & DAX files.

Also, I have no music tracks on my psp so I can save space on my 1 gig.

psp = gaming.
zune= music & movies.

atleast for me anyway,

This has gone way off topic is started as PSX game talk. Not 1up had made it CSO and DAX talk.

All great advice, for the most part. I prefer my music and games all in one place so I know where it is anyways. Uh, ok, so when I run UltraISO, just put it into compressed ISO file then convert in Popstation?

You should just go to 3.03 OE-C, which can run CSOs & DAX files.

This breeds ISO talk
