Im sorry but im kind of a noob at this. can someone please send me a link to the most recent Dark alex custom 3.10 firmware(I wanna make sure I get it from the right place is all) thank you.

and this firmware allows me to play any homebrew i want and the newest psp games? wich one should I get Rev A or Rev A2

and is it safe going from 1.5 to his custom firmware?

firstly don't double post.

you must first get rev A which is what you need to install custom firmware. rev B is just a minor update. you must first be on rev A which is 3.10OE-A, once your on that you can thus update via rev B to be on 3.10OE-A'

As for the firmware you will have to find those yourself cos i dont think we can post them here

No you can freely post them there the sony OFFICAL updates nothing illegal

Just get them from dl.qj.net or something. The official 3.10 update can be found at Sony's official PSP website too.

Because if we're talking about the customized firmware dump, it contains modified Sony code which is illegal to redistribute due to the license under which the PSP Firmware is protected. However, if you modify it yourself...

This is one of those "it's legal for your neighbor to come into your house and press 'record' on your VCR to record a show for you, but not for him to record it at his home and give you the cassette" things (BTW, that is pretty much what the MPAA says).
