.sav help

how do you run .sav files with a game? you gotta name it the same as the game your running it with but with sav at the end instead of .dsq but it still wont run! ive converted it allready but im not sure if I did It right! please help:o

The only way you would get a .dsq file would be to run a commercial rom through the patcher, which is not to be discussed here.
