Does Clubhouse Games support multiplayer on 1x DS?

Hi,

I've read a lot about Clubhouse Games' multiplayer ability - either via local WiFi or WFC.

However, is it possible to do 'old-skool' multiplayer? I.e. - hand the DS around to each player as they take their turn?
