A 4gb would be perfect. I've run out of space on my 2GB and 1Gb. I'm sick of always having to delete fun games to put my ps1 games on.

The shipping isn't free there. Amazon has free shipping, but its sponsers charge about $15.

Also, most mem sticks from ebay are fake and slow.

taco111. So you recomend me to buy it from buy.com? I'm not sure. I really need a 4gb memory stick.I'm from Puerto Rico[US] and I just checked on EBGames.com and it's $109.99. Maybe they haven't updated the site. I'll call tomorrow. But if it stills for the same price. I'll buy it from the internet. So...buy.com has a good service?

I'm from US and I've used Fry's (Outpost's) site to buy lots of stuff, they're fine. Pretty quick shipping, decent prices. Their brick and mortar stores have awesome deals.

I guess the gripe that others have would be about rebates, but those are a pain no matter where you go.

I don't know how their international service is though, good luck.

the frys link takes me to the homepage. looking up "sandisk 4gb memory stick" only comes up with the ultra II version, with no mention of a rebate, for $100.

I bought two 4GB Sony Pro Duo Sticks. Cost me £28 each from Amazon. Both seem genuine and not fake. Quite a bargain me thinks!

$74 - $84 (£38 - £44) for a 4 gigabyte memory stick sounds like a very good price - as long it's official and not fake.

Wow!!!!!!!! :) :) :) :)
They dropped the price again today!!!
$56.49 after google checkout!!!
A mod should change the price in the name of this thread to $56.49!!

Price reduction to $56.49? That would £29, highly cheap! :)

burrito
March 7th, 2007, 21:07

is there a difference between this blue stick and the red gaming memory stick?

This is non-gaming:

The only difference between that and gaming is that gaming comes with no ms pro duo to ms converter and is a different color:

Oh ok so there is no difference in speed or anything. And you dont even need the converter since psp uses pro duo right?

froogle anything to find great deals.
I have been seeing deals like this for a while.

hows 2GB for 20?

All my sticks are non gaming, they are usually better in speed and every thing else.
they're cheaper too, because of marketing. more people like seethru sticks they never see than plain blue ones, so they pay more.

All Sandisk cards are faster than Sony ones.
I have both a 1gb Sandisk gaming and a 1gb Sandisk non-gaming. They are the same speed.

$66.49 is the right price. To get it for $10 less, add it to your cart, click proceed to checkout, then at the right you will see this: http://ak.buy.com/buy_assets/buttons/2006//btn_google_checkout_on.gif
Click that, then sign in using a Google account that hasn't used google checkout before and the $10 will be taken off.

burrito
March 12th, 2007, 00:16
It's still $56.95. That price actually shows up for 1 second beause the buy.com warehouse is out of stock. Next, the price from their partner, Adoroma shows up because they have it in stock.

When I track my order, it says Sent to Warehouse.
