Newer DSLites have new Wifi chips in them, and very few homebrew programs have updated to the new Wifi library that fixes this problem.

You might have an older DS Lite though. Try going into a regular game's wireless settings and make sure everything is set to Manual, not Automatic.

Is SSID Broadcasting enabled? Homebrew can't connect to an AP that doesn't broadcast its SSID. Also, could you please open up the WFC settings and write down what you see there? (no need to write down the WEP key or anything)

Sure:

SSID: Ljungdahls
Auto ip: No
IP: 192.168.1.62
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.254
Auto dns: No
Primary dns: 192.168.1.254
Secondary dns: 0.0.0.0

Alright, open up a Wifi-enabled game and type the correct settings in.

SSID - Ljungdahls
WEP Key - put your WEP key in if you have one
Auto-Obtain IP Address - no
IP Address - 192.168.1.123 (last three numbers can be anything you want from 0 to 255 as long as a computer is not already using it)
Subnet Mask and Gateway - use settings you posted above
Auto-obtain DNS - no
Primary DNS - use what you posted above

The problem might be with the DNS servers. Is there any way to check what your actual DNS servers are? Currently you're letting the router itself handle it, which might work, but it might not. If it's a Linksys router, you could go to the router administration page and check the Status tab. For other routers, I'm not really sure.
