HP has unveiled its first ever Chromebook, the HP Pavilion 14.
Providing a gateway to popular Google products such as Search, Gmail, YouTube, Google Drive and Google+ Hangouts, the new device features a 14-inch screen with HP BrightView – in fact, the display is 35 per cent larger than most Chromebooks available on the market today.
Widening the company’s extensive PC portfolio, the new Chromebook is powered by an Intel Celeron processor and Intel high-definition graphics. The HP Pavilion 14 includes a 16GB SSD and has a built-in Trusted Platform Module to protect against unauthorised access to sensitive data.
Weighing just under four pounds, the device has a full array of ports, including HDMI, three USB 2.0 and Ethernet jack. It also has a combination headphone and microphone jack.
With 100GB of free storage on Google Drive for two years, customers can access their content from any internet-connected device.
The HP Pavilion 14 Chromebook has a starting price of £249 and is available in the UK now.
