help with sound problem

I have the following problem when trying to adjust the volume on my psp
basicly the sound buttons are not working and the sound is stuck around 65%
if i go to sound settings and press the home button the display shuts off and sound gets muted. I have to press the power button again for the display to be visible. Repeating the procedure shuts display again but re-enables the sound. Got any idea what this might be? or perhaps how i can turn the volume up to 100% through some other method perhaps some homebrew application?

avls on or off same thingy i press the volume buttons up/down and nothing happens volume stuck around 60%. any ideas?

Try to reinstall your custom firmware. Or update to a custom firmware if you haven't already.
