This looks pretty legit guys:
Fortunately, we can't play copied games yet. At least that will keep the warez kiddies away for a bit. But it will help tremondously with the homebrewn scene seeing how we can now see whats inside a umd game.

There is a reason why I am not posting the website because of the fact it is warez.

well reading some forums peeps tried putting the game on mem stick and it shows the wipeout pure game descripton and says game cant be started

May 7th, 2005, 05:17
It can be started but you can't play it due to the error it gives you.
But here is one of many videos showing how far you can get tho.

well...looking throught the wipeout iso, theres a file named boot.bin.....found some interesting text "SCEJpspBrowserVer050223"
this doesnt really help anyone but its looks like thr browser may be stored in the boot.bin file.

there r other files cropping up like Ridge_Racers_JAP_PSP_MOD_EBOOT-TPM_Internal
and Ridge_Racers_JAP-NO_BS
interesting or bullsh*t?

any1 know how paradox ripped umds

May 7th, 2005, 16:06
i dont know but im guessing he used the browser in wipeout and instead of it being http he put 'Z' or 'disk0'
another thing i just discovered which also doesnt have any real advantage is that you can add a sound file to your game save, i just added the wipeout sound file to my ridge racers save file, which it will play when hovered over...
