Everytime I load up Daedalus on my PSP (3.02 OEB) it crashes once it reaches the menu. Any ideas on how I might fix the problem?

Thanks,

Yeah, I have the same problem to, I'm not to sure but, have you tryed a different version than R9, I have the same problem with any emu, but homebrew is fairly stable. :S I'm going to try out a different version this afternoon.

I've tried placing the 1.5 version in my GAME150 folder, downloading the 1.0 version and running it normally all with the same results. Does this only work with 1.50 PSPs?

This works with all homebrew capable psp versions

Do you already have a game in the roms directory

I had a game in the roms directory, then took it out after it crashed the first time.

is it unzipped when u put it in the roms directory?

Yes, it was unzipped and had a .usa extension. I hadn't really checked which extensions worked and was using it as a rough test to see if it worked.

Before it reached the game, as soon as it reached the Daedalus menu with the "Roms" and "Rom Settings" along the top (can't remember the first one).

Sweet, it works now. I changed the file extension and it started operating fine. I guess you have to have a rom in for it to work though.

It sounds like this is a silly bug that causes the frontend to crash when it can't find any roms to display. I'll fix this for R10 - I'll also make sure it correctly recognises '.usa' as a valid extension.

Now that is what I like to hear, so how long is it going to take a few months?
