Converting Popstation save to other format?

Ok I need to convert my Popstation save to a standard PSX save format or another format so I can use it on a PS2 or a PSX emulator. I see articles on how to convert saves to Popstation format but not the reverse. I need to continue my multi disc game on my PS2 or through a PC PSX emulator then convert the save back so I can continue on disc 2. As the game requires a disc swap prior to saving. I want to continue it to disc two then save and copy the disc two save back so I can continue my game. How can I do this? Also I did purchase a dex drive so as to be able to copy the saves to a standard psx memory card. I'm just waiting for it to arrive in the mail.
