I have a x-box360 and i want to know if there is any application or custom frimware i can put on the x-box without a modchip

if you have updated to the latest firmware (i.e connected to xbox live) you can not run any homebrew or downgrade due to the effuse being blown in the latest kernel update.

also there really is not much for it at the mo bar a hello world (http://xbox360.dcemu.co.uk/hello-world-xbox-360-54621.html) and Linux Bootloader: XeLL (http://xbox360.dcemu.co.uk/linux-bootlader-for-xbox360-xell-56712.html)

If you don't play Xbox live I would wait and see what happens before you update your 360. Right now there isn't a lot of xbox 360 homebrew but it seems like there are breakthroughs everyday other day. So it shouldn't be to long until a cracked or completely new os is released allowing for homebrew.

oh 360 homebrew like music in my ears =) to bad i play on live and have the updates ;(
