Memory stick troubles

Hi everyone, earlier my memory stick stopped working. When I switch my psp on it comes up with an error and the memory stick does not come up. It's happened many times before, but now it won't come back. Why is this happening?
If it helps, it is an action replay max memory stick and magicgate was said as unknown.

when the error shows what dose it say?

It shows nothing, but the flash may be interfering with it.
I'll try putting the original flash on.

i dont know what it could be then try putting the original flash on that fixes all of my psp prob's

I put the original flash back on and it says I need to format it.
Now it works. Kinda good, but Kinda bad because I lost everything that was on there.

Thats why you back up your data :)
My dad yells at me when i back up mine, so i had to delete it. Apparently 4gb on a 90gb hard drive is too much. lol
Takes hours to restore though because i dont have usb 2.0
