just a question??
i read all the new posts here-to find out whats new and coming to my PSP.
homebrew=an interesting way of using the PSP in a way it hasnt been designed for-but all i see now, is an anxious rush towards 'cracking'it at any cost.
why back track on an updated ROM--if it will potentially ruin the hardware???
why go through hoops to play TETRIS-or view basic text on a peice of hardware that has made our jaws drop??????
please get real==stop trying to exploit any flaws in a machine that seems very flawless to me--it is a PS2 that i can put in my pocket--
i dont need an I-pod
i can look at my favorite pics-mostly naked women--1000's of them
and still watch the best episodes of the simpsons
on a 512 meg card--wont pay more for a card than i paid for the hardware.
lets just get real here-we all hate monopolys-and big corps that exploit--
we all want stuff for nothing---
but we all paid big bucks for a very good peice of kit--for what???
TETRIS

and the risk of frying it if we risk downgrading an update
what are we like?????
just my opinion--
ps--
lets all rush out and crack XBOX 2 now
:)

I bought my PSP to play the released games and music and to listen to music.

Until I came on this site homebrew meant beer to me :D

People should relax, things will happen but until it does we still have a great machine!!

It's not gonna fry your system or damage it to run a bios that already worked fine.
It's not just about playing tertis or blah or blah. If people thought like you we wouldnt be playing Genesis on are Dreamcast.

Which plays horribly mind you unless you use that illegal genesis emulator floating around. :/

IMO the only console to make genuine use of Homebrew so far is the Xbox.

The PSP is just interesting though, because of the portability etc.

I'm not trying to be a jerk......It just seems people are REALLY quick to flame around here......If you want sarcasm, how can he shut his mouth when he never opened it? I mean, he typed that post. So, you know, he could reply to this thread without opening his mouth.......J/K

I have a Dreamcast next to my TV on the other side of this room. I bought it from a local importer 2 days after the system was launched in Japan, costing me pretty much, a month's pay, so in answer to your question, yes, twat, I have heard of a Dreamcast.

And to re-itterate my original point, whilst Sonic Adventure is my all-time number one game, and the Dreamcast probably is my favourite console over all, I personally don't think that the homebrew on there was anything special.

Maybe I didn't get quite as into it as you did though.

Do you really think its smart to insult a Dreamcast coder who's also part of the staff?
