downgrading help

hi all new to this psp thing just about to buy son a psp the two i have seen are the 1st is a 2.80 and the 2st is a 2.60 can anything be done with these if not which version should i get hope u can help as its my son`s birthday tomorrow thanks

Get the 2.60.

Because there is the 2.71 downgrader (i think)

hi will the 2.71 play games from the memory card not to sure how all this works really need help with this dont want to turn it to a brick

no 2.71 will not play games from the memory card

(iso talk is forbiden, so go no further on that)

the is a 2.71 downgrade which takes it down to 1.50 which is homebrew compatable.
