Downgradin 2.60 PSP via TIFF???

My friend bought psp and it was 2.60.
Since we dont have unpatched GTA were trying to use the tiff exploit and by using dark_alex's Downgrader for 2.60 we want to Downgrade

We found the downgrader file on the web but when we try to download it our computer says the file is named "Unknown" and its type is "Unknown"

what the f*** we do now?
any link to downgrader wich works via tiff?

k, then what UMD is needed to update to 2.80?
Network Update is out of options since it'll download 3.40 FW..

You can download the 2.80 official updater here (http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/664). You will also need the 1.50 updater to get the downgrader to work which can be found here (http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/4).

Well my pal dosent have TA-082 motherboard so isnt that downgrader "useless"?

Isnt it easier just me to downgrade my PSP to 1.50 using that recovery thingy and give the output file to him so he can update to 2.71 and downgrade it to 1.50? Im not sure how these work since i downgraded my PSP ages ago (2.0 -> 1.50):confused: :confused:

i would upgrade to 2.71 and use the 2.71 downgrader :) its very safe :D
